Mini Mill X2 Y Axis CNC Conversion
thingiverse
This is a CNC conversion for my Little Machine Shop mini mill (3990).\r\nI got the bulk of the design from LittleCareBear's design, but I wanted to make some changes.\r\n\r\nParts needed:\r\nM5x0.80 20mm bolt (7)\r\nM4x0.7 20mm bolt (4)\r\nM4x0.7 nut (4)\r\nM6x1.0 60mm low profile bolt (2)\r\n51101 12x26x9 Thrust bearing (1)\r\nF12-21M 12x21x5 Thrust bearing (1)\r\n\r\nI used the lock nut from my mill to hold the 120 tooth pulley.\r\n\r\nNot shown in video\r\nYou will also need a GT2 timing belt\r\nClosed Loop L=280mm W=6mm 140 Teeth Rubber Drive Belt (1)\r\nThe two holes on the top of the bearing block are so you can oil the thrust bearings without taking it all apart. Use a short M4 for the big bearing port and a short M3 for the little bearing port.\r\n\r\nX Axis: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3531440\r\nZ Axis: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3531725\r\n\r\nhttps://youtu.be/LFsKt6lTTq4
