Mini Menorah and Toy Candles

Mini Menorah and Toy Candles

thingiverse

There's a couple of young quarter-Jews in my family who enjoy the ceremony of lighting the candles but are too little to participate themselves so I decided to make a small, chunky menorah with pretend candles that they could handle easily and safely celebrate with! I made two versions of the menorah, one with a Star of David and one without. I couldn't decide which one I liked better, so I uploaded both designs. There are three candle variations and three flame variations, so after the eight nights it won't look completely dull and cookie cutter. Both the candles and flames are sized to slide into their receptacles easily but snugly. The ends are tapered to help this, but depending on your printer settings you may need to file down the ends just a little to make them easier to insert. I printed the candles with brims, but I'd highly suggest using brims or rafts with the flames too. Besides the flames possibly being a little precarious, it should be an easy print without any supports needed. I hope you enjoy making and using these menorah designs!
