The box, board, and squares can be customized to print at any resolution you desire, but for optimal results with the chess pieces, we recommend a minimum of .1mm detail. A little support is essential in the two grooves on the box, while the rest prints smoothly without any issues. The squares fit snugly into place, although I chose to glue them for a permanent hold just to be sure. If you're curious about the box behind the King & Queen, I added a 5x20mm cooling tower to make printing the small pieces easier and less prone to overheating. This small addition proved to be incredibly helpful and can be easily discarded after use. A good fan is also crucial when working with PLA, as it helps to speed up the printing process significantly.
