Mini Magnetic Twist Lock Quick Release Key Ring

This tiny 20mm keychain is barely larger than what an FFF printer can reliably print with such intricate geometry. To disassemble: first, pull down and then release up slightly, twisting counterclockwise as you go. Finally, pull down again to fully open the mechanism. I've used Moss Grey Matte PLA in the photos, which complements its design perfectly: http://bit.ly/moss-grey-pla You will need two small disc magnets: one 5mm in diameter and 2.5mm high, and another 3mm in diameter by 2mm high. These can be pushed into place (dependent on your printer's tolerances) or secured with a drop of super glue (cyanoacrylate). If you'd like to use different sized magnets, just let me know and I'll upload customized models. I highly recommend using N52 neodymium magnets for maximum strength.
