Mini LED Spotlight With Barn Doors

Here's a very affordable, highly versatile solution for accent and miniature lighting. This compact LED flashlight (approximately $4) boasts an adjustable beam. The mounts are based on Mole Richardson classic movie light design with a modern twist. The barn doors print as one piece. Carefully wiggle to loosen each joint. The doors nest into a tight little package in this order: right, left, bottom, top, as shown in the animated gif:http://digidavedvd.com/Public/Misc/Barn%20Doors.gif They can snugly fit onto the light directly or you can use the backer if you want to add color or soften the beam. A swatch pack of gel filters (you can find these at Expendables outlets, usually for free) is the perfect size to insert color and/or diffusion. Attach the backer with 3mm filament rivets. There is a lever at the top of the doors designed to retain gels. The spotlight tilt has a printed-in tensionable hinge designed to work with the included knob or any 1/4-20 knob or bolt. There is also a snoot and cookie that pressure fits onto the doors for creating interesting light breakup. I will design more patterns - follow me to stay updated. I discovered these lights here, but they are fairly easy to find elsewhere:https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01CB2ZTYQ/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Designed to work with this lightstand:http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1907813 Use a 1/2" long 1/4-20 set screw or threaded rod. This is part 4 of my thing-a-day campaign. Follow me for updates and fun new stuff.
