Mini LED Moving Head - pan-tilt with 9g servos
thingiverse
A minimalistic LED moving head, controlled via DMX, is described in this 'Instructions' tab. It features easy 3D printing without overhangs and snap-mounting for convenience, as well as an exchangeable enclosure for custom electronic configurations. The head includes three 10mm LEDs on a stripboard, controlled by PWM. Electronically, it utilizes a proof of concept DMX receiver based on Arduino/ATmega328p without optocouplers or DMX output, while manual control features remain incomplete. The Arduino code will be published later, currently functioning but not fully-featured, receiving DMX512 and utilizing four channels (PAN, TILT, DIM, STROBE). Future updates include eeprom setting for DMX start channel and a user interface to adjust it. View the proof of concept video at http://youtu.be/BR4XgU2TIvo.
