Mini LED Lamp
thingiverse
I was after a compact desk lamp to illuminate my 3D printer bed in operation. This is the design I came up with, utilizing a 10cm strip of LEDs. The entire project consumed approximately 65 grams of plastic. Print Settings: Printer: Cocoon create Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: No Resolution: 0.1mm Infill: 20% Post-Printing: The LED strip can be attached to the board on the 'Head B' part prior to assembly, ensuring that the chosen light strip does not generate excessive heat. Since the lamp employs LEDs, a reflector is likely unnecessary; however, I have incorporated a 10.2cm by 8.5cm rectangle of glossy photo paper into the 'Head A' part before assembly for aesthetic purposes. Prior to assembly, smooth any burs off the pins on the head. Although glue may not be required, as the stem will hold everything together, it is ultimately up to personal preference.
