I successfully stripped one of the critical pinion gears on my trusty mini lathe and created replacement models using FreeCAD. After scouring online forums, I discovered several projects detailing gear wheel upgrades, but couldn't find any suitable CAD designs for these specific pinions, so I decided to share my own creations. I printed them at 35% infill in PLA, which proved strong enough, and after running the lathe's gearbox for a few hours today, they seem to be functioning flawlessly.
