We're hooked on building a homemade mini lathe project and want to share it with you. If making small jobs and having fun is your thing, this mini lathe is perfect for you. I'm guessing he's got his own workshop, but I don't think he's jealous of turning or milling machines. In this series of videos, we'll take a close look at how to make a precision lathe for your workshop. If you want to build your own mini lathe, be sure to check out our previous video. We're going to try to create a lathe that can produce the most precise woodworking possible in a home workshop setting. Of course, this workbench is not designed for industrial purposes, but rather as bench-top mini lathes that are ideal for use in labs, workshops, engineering and educational settings. In this project, our 3D printer was our biggest ally. We've designed and produced some parts that we're using in the lathe, and they're made to last – no question about it.
