I've yet to attach it, but initial test fitting appears promising. I designed this so I can create an adapter for a 5-inch chuck on the lathe I'm making the adapter for. It should also serve as a useful template for drilling holes in the 5-inch chuck adapter. Hopefully, it will enable me to drill a center hole, allowing me to get a bore hole and turn between centers using my stock Harbor Freight 3-inch chuck. I would print with at least 30-50% infill with layers of 0.2mm or less for good adhesion. Just ensure that the first layer sticks well, as it will significantly impact the runout. Consider adding a few solid layers to the top and bottom so you can face off some material once mounted to guarantee low runout.
