Mini laboratory power supply: a great tool for electronics homework. This device comes with short circuit protection and can provide regulated voltage from 0 to 25 volts and current from 0 to 3 amps. You can use it to charge various batteries, including li-ion. The green LED light indicates when the unit is idle or battery charging is complete. A blue light means there's a load connected or the battery is being charged. Red LED shows overload. There's also a separate USB output of 5 volts at 2 amps. I used this power supply to test my project and it worked perfectly fine with a voltage regulator Xl4095 module, which cost around $4. The other components were also affordable and can be found for cheaper prices online.
