Mini Kossel J-head mount with 40mm PEEK fan and dual 40mm layer fans: a Solution to the Challenge of High-Speed Printing Drawing inspiration from a similar design on Thingiverse (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:560992), I faced difficulties sourcing high-speed 30mm fans at an affordable price, around £20 or less per unit. Taking my cue from Think3dPrint3d (http://think3dprint3d.com/Kossel-Mini-3dPrinter-Kit), this is a modified version of their Kossel Mini 3D printer kit. Although still a work in progress, after experimenting with the design for several days, I'm now considering swapping out traditional fans for blower (squirrelcage) fans. Switching to blower fans will undoubtedly require an entirely new design concept; a potential option being Thingiverse's Blower Fan Mount (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:711090). Instructions: Following a successful print of the previous version, this latest iteration should also require similar support structures in place. For optimal results, I recommend using Cura at 0.2 mm layer height and implementing support everywhere it's necessary to ensure platform adhesion isn't an issue.
