Mini Kossel Frame Riser
thingiverse
This is a critical component for your Mini Kossel or comparable delta printers: a customizable frame riser or foot. Below are clear instructions to ensure proper installation and optimal performance. Default Height Adjustment The standard height of this riser is set at 10mm. However, you can easily modify it by altering the .scad file. To do this, insert your desired height value in the module call, like this: kossel_foot(20). This modification will increase the riser's height to 20mm. Print Setup To print the risers correctly, use a layer height of 0.3mm and a fill percentage of at least 40%. For best results, print three separate risers. Application Use double-sided tape to secure each riser firmly onto the bottom edge of the vertical frame member. Notes For Mini Kossel assemblies constructed with OpenBeam 15x15 components, consider utilizing a 3mm tap. Drill threaded holes through the central part of the beam and install a 10-15mm 3mm bolt to connect the foot to the frame securely.
