Modified Effector designed for E3D V6 Based on This: Using clamp:http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:521328\nand probe mount Designed to use an omron microswitch:http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:524238 \nI modified the design to use melt-in barbed M3 inserts instead of nuts. The inserts are these from Mcmaster-Carr:http://www.mcmaster.com/#standard-threaded-inserts/=xhcfws \nclick on heat-set inserts for plastics and choose the M3 sized ones. I'll add pictures when I get a chance.\nAll credit for the original designs goes to Ponpont and MartTheBuilder. Thanks for Amazing Designs!\n\n Instructions Print effector and related parts. (I used 0.4mm nozzle at 0.25 layer height with 50% infill. Also, make sure wall thickness is high as you'll be melting into the part and you want the inserts to melt into a strong area not infill. I used five layer wall thickness.) Melt in inserts. I used regular soldering iron with a wide chisel tip. I'm sure other tips will work. Make sure insert lines up with hole as you melt it in, otherwise screw will tighten off center. Assemble and you're done!
