MINI KOSSEL Carriage

Attached is an OpenSCAD and STL file for a carriage that employs screws as rebar for enhanced stability and resolves the belt issue by looping it back on itself. This design also enables a considerable degree of freedom in movement for the push rods, while securely attaching to standard linear rails with ease. I developed this replacement to upgrade my makergeeks carriages, which unfortunately failed to withstand the tension exerted by the belt. Extensive thanks are due to all the individuals who shared their expertise on the rep-rap forums and here on thingiverse. Further details can be found at: http://sebastian.steinhauer.info/index.php/2015/09/09/mini-kossel-building-a-better-carriage/ M3x10 socket head cap screws are used for reinforcement as rebar. These fasteners can be obtained from mr. metric via the following link: http://www.mrmetric.com/metric-fasteners/metric-socket-head-cap-screws-ssa2/M10605.html [UPDATE] Approximately 6 months of reliable service have now passed without encountering any problems, and supplementary photos have been uploaded. Instructions: You may require support printing to prevent sagging of the push-rod mounts. Nonetheless, ensure that the alignment screw channel remains free from supports.
