Mini Kossel 170mm Glass Clamps
thingiverse
This device constructs a low-profile glass clamp for a Mini Kossel (or comparable small delta printer). The component will fit a 170mm build plate. It is NOT suitable for FSR usage, but accommodates Kapton heater-friendly compatibility. Spring-loaded clamps securely hold the glass in place. Based on your hot end nozzle and heater block size, it should clear the heater block and avoid build diameter reduction; however, experiment with reduced build diameters if potential collisions are anticipated. A lower profile clip has been provided for printers with larger heater blocks (or other obstructions). Vitamins needed: (6) M3x6mm bolts (3) M3x25mm bolts (20mm length may also work but is a bit too short) (3) M3 nylocks (3) M3 washers (3) bed springs (or extruder door springs). A stiffer spring provides better performance. To assemble: Print (3) clamps and (3) bases. The base prints include built-in supports, so remove the supports from the base parts. Install a clamp onto its mount by passing the bolt through the clamp and mount then attaching the spring, washer, and nylock in that order. Secure it with moderate effort required to move the clamp. Attach the mounts to your frame but don't tighten them yet. Place the glass inside and adjust the mounts so it is snug and perfectly level.
