Mini jet crackerbox

This is a remix of my original design, a fusion of innovation and functionality. I previously designed a jet drive system and acquired a "new" printer boasting a Z axis of approximately 300mm. Deciding to merge the two, I created a massive boat hull on my printer by incorporating the jet drive into its structure. The result was a compact yet powerful setup featuring a 22mm jet drive nestled within a 285mm long boat hull. To ensure ease of access, I designed a flat area on top for an easy hatch opening. Printed with a hollow interior and two perimeters set to .75mm thickness, the total wall thickness reached 1.4mm, providing sufficient layer overlap for optimal adhesion. The material used was esun PETG. After printing, I conducted a test in a sink and was pleased to discover it worked remarkably well. Currently awaiting additional parts, I have loaded all necessary files for the jet drive system. Here are the components and electronics utilized: - 1/8" stainless steel drive shaft sourced from McMaster; an alternative option of 3mm would also be suitable. - K&S brass tubing acquired from a hobby shop to function as a stuffing tube and bushing in the stator, boasting an ID matching the shaft size. - A 5g servo was employed for steering purposes, coupled with some 1mm wire. - The motor and ESC were sourced from banggood; I'm currently utilizing a DYS 2000kv outrunner. It's worth noting that this KV rating may be too low; an alternative is the 4800kv ducted motor offered by banggood. - An ESC rated at 10a for mini quad applications was used. - Initially, I ran it with a 2s 350ma lipo but would recommend upgrading to a 3s configuration when utilizing the 2000kv motor. To create a stable foundation for the motor, I designed and laser-cut a motor mount from birch ply. This design may be added as a printable part in the future. Additionally, a laser was used to cut out the top hatch area. Several different 22mm impellers were also included for testing purposes.
