Mini ITX Case with Water Cooling Support
thingiverse
Update June 4th, 2020: - I have managed to trim the size of it down a little bit. In the pursuit of supporting water cooling I had created a case that had a volume of over 23 liters. That doesn't really fit what I would consider to be very "Small Form Factor." While is isn't much, I managed to lower it 1.5 liters. This change comes from lowering the vent space along the top and bottom of the case. There is still 20mm of vent space so it should get the air it needs. As far as fan orientation, I would have them pointed in one direction so that one is an intake and one is an exhaust. I also had to make an edit after thinking about it to the front part of the spine because I thought that the radiator ports would interfere with everything coming together. If you happen to have any ideas for making it smaller whilst still managing to hold everything it should be capable of holding please leave a comment because I have stared at it in a CAD space that my mind is going blank. - I also added some ridges to the bottom piece because I wasn't very confident in its ability to support both the radiator and the fans. I also split the part so it would be easier to print given that my printer's build volume doesn't exceed 240mm in any direction. So, this PC case is still VERY MUCH a work in progress since I haven't had a chance to print it and test it on my own. But since I have the files pretty much done for the first revision, I decided to go ahead an publish it in case anyone wants to try it themselves. This is a remix of fjaquino's remix that he did. I liked the way his looked and wanted to edit his to fit 2 240mm radiators and a tiny reservoir with a pump. Unfortunately this means that the pieces require you to do a substantial amount of gluing if you do not use a printer the size of the CR-10 and equivalent printers. The files in this project are going to be uploaded with the ender 3 being the primary assumed printer. As per fjaquino's post, do not use PLA considering how low PLA's transition temperature is. Also, the Case Bottom Cover .stl's have to be printed mirrored too for it to fully cover and provide support for the case. Note, the large space in the side panels is for windows on each side. Getting this much stuff in this case feels like quite the accomplishment, show it off. I might post revisions with vents just for variety. If you have any edits or suggestions to the design, please post it in the comments on here. I will probably doing a few myself once I get the materials I need to print it. Sorry about the naming scheme being so inconsistent.
