Mini-ITX case
thingiverse
Hi! Here's my vision for a mini ITX case that's perfect for a motherboard with an external power supply - and can easily be modified to fit an FSX setup too. This case design doesn't require you to install a graphics card inside, which is great news if you're looking for a sleek and compact build. For the back light, I used addressed RGB LEDs controlled by an Arduino. The model features a special slot for an RGB strip WS2812 - and in my setup, the strip reacts to hard drive activity, adding an extra layer of visual interest to your case. Mostly all components are held together with thick FAN screws, except for the top ring and lid. The ring is secured with long fan screws, while the lid uses standard plastic screws.
