Mini IMSAI 8080 "Wargames" movie set
thingiverse
Remember the 1983 movie Wargames? Seattle teenage hacker David Lightman (played by Matthew Broderick) was trying to impress attractive classmate Jennifer Mack (played by Ally Sheedy), and they accidentally hack into a NORAD missile base and almost start World War 3, an unforgettable plot twist. A timeless classic rom-com adventure. Well, as we all know the real star of that movie was David's impressive IMSAI based desktop system - 8080 computer with FDC-2 disk drives and the 212A modem and keyboard, all running on a Electrohome 17" monitor - with speech synthesis no less. My first movie obsession. Relive those nostalgic moments of young love/global thermonuclear war with this mini machine kit! Mini 3D models of Matthew Broderick and Ally Sheedy are sadly not included. Too busy to print your own? Buy from our store at http://store.rabbitengineering.com Post-Printing No real need for instructions - take a close look at the photos and build to match. Note that you'll need multiple copies of certain parts (the IMSAI machine bodies, the 8080 switches, the monitor carry handles, etc). The decals are all in stickers.PDF - if you print onto US legal sized paper you'll get the correct scale.
