Seattle teenage hacker David Lightman (played by Matthew Broderick) was trying to impress attractive classmate Jennifer Mack (played by Ally Sheedy), and they accidentally hack into a NORAD missile base and almost start World War 3, an unforgettable plot twist. A timeless classic rom-com adventure. Well, as we all know the real star of that movie was David's impressive IMSAI based desktop system - 8080 computer with FDC-2 disk drives and the 212A modem and keyboard, all running on a Electrohome 17" monitor - with speech synthesis no less.
