Mini Impossible Puzzle Cube

Mini Impossible Puzzle Cube

thingiverse

This is a small, incredibly challenging puzzle cube that measures just 32mm (1.25 inches) across and consists of nine separate pieces. Solving it is an extremely difficult task! Each piece has a unique shape, and only one specific combination will result in the correct fit - no matter how many other ways you think the pieces could come together. I was wrestling with this puzzle for 30 minutes before I had to peek at the solution; not surprising, given that I'm also the creator of this brain teaser! The printing process begins with a flat layout of all nine pieces on the print bed. Additionally, these files have been divided into two separate documents to accommodate users who prefer to print their cubes in multiple colors. To see the complete assembly instructions for your puzzle cube, please check out my Tinkercad file here: https://tinkercad.com/things/7t3bIbCzG2B. This document will provide you with a step-by-step guide on how to correctly assemble your cube! Here are the print settings that I used for my Printrbot Play: Printer: Rafts: Yes Supports: No Infill: 10% Important Notes: Keep in mind that, due to their size and delicate nature, these individual pieces may warp during printing. Using a raft will help keep everything perfectly flat while your cube prints! My initial attempt at designing the puzzle included an intention not to include any supports; my goal was for users to print with confidence knowing that I had designed it this way on purpose. As for printing times, using 75mm/s and 10% infill yielded impressive results - in just about an hour total!
