Mini Hygrometer Stand
thingiverse
This is a compact desk/table stand designed to hold miniature hygrometers like these at an affordable price for indoor and greenhouse use. I created this stand to house a set of sensors I utilize to monitor my bedroom and home laboratory conditions, marking it as the first fully-designed object in Fusion 360. The design has undergone numerous revisions until reaching this final iteration that serves its purpose effectively. The body features multiple holes to minimize material usage while also serving as windows for the snap-in wings and battery compartment. To remove the unit, simply compress the sensor's wings through the side windows while pushing it out through the large window at the back. One crucial point to note is that when printing this design with supports, be cautious when removing them, especially from the front window where the hygrometer is inserted. The frame holding it in place is quite slender and may break if excessive force is applied. I have also included a .f3d file for easy remixing purposes; however, due to the numerous edits this design has undergone, some areas of the mesh are quite complex and messy.
