Pack dirt into the three inset columns that reach the bottom of the water reservoir. Remove any excess dirt that spills into the water reservoir. Place the tray into the mid-pot, allowing it to stop halfway on the ledges at the level of the dirt columns. Pack dirt on top of the tray in the top half of the pot, ensuring contact between the dirt from the inset columns and the top soil. Avoid packing the dirt too tightly above the tray, minimizing excess dirt that enters the water reservoir. Plant the plant firmly into its new home. Fill the water reservoir through the fill tube at the top of the dirt level, allowing it to overflow through the side hole when full. Add a measured amount of plant food to the top soil as needed.
