Mini Hood Scoop with turbine
thingiverse
Toys for big kids. We used to attach small propellers to our bicycle handlebars when we were young. Now that we're older, we can still do the same thing with our cars or motorcycles. I've been designing some toys of this type lately and this is my single turbine version of a mini double hood scoop. It has holes below for magnets as well as suction channels. Due to the suction generated by these channels, it sticks more firmly to surfaces as it moves faster through the air. This can be used on metal vehicle or stationary object surfaces. I only installed six small magnets and tested it up to 110 km/h without any issues. If you want, you may increase or decrease the number of magnets. Keep the magnet holes connected to the main turbine channel empty because they will create more suction while in motion. The turbine is attached to the body via miniature ball bearings inside so it can be used for years.
