Mini H-quad w carbon rods **55g frame**
thingiverse
Human: adore these compact H-quads….yet my fully 3D printed version snapped a leg, after an RX brownout.....and was ~70g…..this one is only 55g and the carbon rods are super rigid, and won't be breaking anytime soon....the 3D printed components should be remarkably resilient as well…..made for the KK2.* FC...I mounted mine on 4 o-rings beneath the FC...for a minor amount of vibration dampening...then zip-tied securely in place.\nI am building with Turnigy 1811 2900kv...plush 6A ESCs...as they are exceptionally lightweight motors and ESCs....using GF 5030 props\nshould be an extremely light H-quad….~170g (NO batt)\nI trimmed my carbon rods to 160mm (arms) x2 and 142mm x2 to give me ~142mm between motor mounts.... identical to my previous mini h-quad. (140mm) making it ~ a '200mm' quad...but could easily be a 250mm quad with an increase in only the carbon rods....\nthx to pragamichele, for the great idea....I took his idea, and redesigned it for my own use....\nbuild pics soon….now that everything is assembled properly!\nthe quad is built to be aligned upside down and flat on the bench….my all cuts are coded @ 6.25mm to provide shrinkage and fit tolerance....so 6mm carbon rods are a perfect, tight fit, when printed on my UP printer @ 0.25mm layer height…..
