Mini Gun Designed Specifically For Rainbow Loom Bands. The gun is designed to hold about 84 rounds, with 12 posts on the barrel that can stack 7 bands each. To load the bands, simply wrap some dental floss around them as you place them on the posts. Besides the printed parts, a few additional items are needed: Schedule 40 PVC pipe (1" diameter, 4" long) is required, with the ends cut as square as possible. A piece of 1/4" rod, about 6" long, will also be necessary. Three 1/4" nuts, measuring 7/16" across their flats, are needed along with BBs for ball bearings (0.177"/4.5mm diameter). Bamboo skewers, cut to 3-3/4" in length, can be used as well; sanding down the ends may be necessary to fit them properly. To assemble the mini gun, dental floss will also be required - about 3'-4' worth. A few drops of vegetable oil are needed for lubricating bearings, and it's a good idea to clean up bearing races for smoother operation. The cap may need to be sanded down slightly for extra clearance; in addition, the X and Y axis scale on the cap may need to be adjusted by 1.03 when printing at 0.25mm/layer.
