I built a compact ground station that fits neatly on my backpack, allowing me to take it anywhere. I mounted it on a cheap GorillaPod clone tripod, but any standard tripod with a 1/4" screw will work just as well. The setup holds both my FR632 and a lipo battery securely in place. I use Velcro straps to keep all the cables organized and attached. A small hook on the back can even hold my goggles in position. However, the lipo tray is slightly larger than my 2200mAh SLS battery, so I may need some extra padding around the sides to ensure a snug fit.
