Mini Grandfather Clock
thingiverse
I designed a tiny grandfather clock measuring 75x26x10 mm that can also be attached to a key chain. Unfortunately, I had problems printing the model from Thingiverse, so I decided to create an updated version from scratch based on the original work of themitch22. This is my first project using 123d software, and I hope it's not completely flawed to work with. If everything goes as planned, your print should turn out nicely too. Have fun! Here are some printing instructions: To achieve the best results, use a Lulzbot mini printer with PLA material on easy mode and high quality settings. You might want to avoid scaling down this model unless you're using a more advanced printer, but it ultimately depends on your specific equipment. The dial should be printed with sufficient relief so that it shows up well. I initially set the time at 4:20 for humor's sake, but feel free to adjust the design if needed. So far, my testing suggests that the keychain attachment holds up reasonably well in PLA, although its long-term durability has not been extensively tested yet.
