Mini Gingerbread House Cutters

Mini Gingerbread House Cutters

Cookie cutters for crafting teeny-tiny gingerbread homes. Instructions Inspired by the creative genius of Megan Reardon at www.notmartha.org, I fine-tuned her design in Designspark. I printed the cookie cutters with a sleek finish on my PLA printer using 2 shells and 40% infill. The result was a game-changer – I'm now ordering Tglaze (PET filament) from Taulman to print more and seal them with food-grade silicone for added durability. Get rolling, and lay down gingerbread dough that's roughly 1/8th to 3/16ths of an inch thick. Bake at a temperature of 350 degrees Fahrenheit for about 7-8 minutes, then crown it with crushed candy canes placed carefully on top of a smooth layer of royal icing. Time to build – assemble the entrance, sides, and roof pieces using a robust layer of royal icing (or sizzling hot caramel).
