Mini FT Arrow 3D Printed Mount Standard Width - Flitetest
thingiverse
I created a remix of AntonioSantos' wider center pod for the FT Mini Arrow flying wing. This version has the right width to fit perfectly with the standard fuselage without power pod attached. Additionally, I designed an upgraded version with full-height sides and holes that allows the pod to be friction-fit into place and secured using a piece of pushrod wire or bamboo skewer. However, if you choose to use bamboo, remember to drill out the hole slightly larger to accommodate its size. Update: After experiencing some crash landings, I revised the friction fit version to have a 2mm firewall instead of the original 1mm one. The previous firewall design was too fragile and prone to breaking. Print Settings: Printer: MakerFarm I3v 8 Rafts: No supports Supports: No Notes: To achieve maximum strength, print the tallest layers possible. Design Process: I imported the original STL file into SketchUp, made some adjustments, exported it as a new STL file, and then used NetFabb's online repair tool to fix any imperfections.
