Mini FPV Tricopter
thingiverse
Here's my latest design, a 3D printed mini tricopter that's breaking the mold. I've taken inspiration from FPV racers to create something that really stands out. It comes in two sizes: either a compact 250mm or an extended 280mm setup depending on your preferred arm configuration. Complete specs include: Gemfan 5x3 props that deliver optimal thrust Magic 12A ESCs with the power and speed of SimonK software SunnySky 2204 2300kV motors for lightning-fast acceleration Naze32 Flight Controller providing pinpoint navigation HS-55 Tail Servo ensuring precise control PZ0420M FPV Camera capturing crystal-clear video feeds HobbyKing TS5823 Mini Video Transmitter broadcasting the action A robust build with Glacier 3S 1000mah Battery keeping you in flight for extended periods And, a durable construction that requires minimal assembly: only 6x M3x14mm screws to connect the body and arms, plus 2x M3x8mm screws to secure the battery cover, and 1x M3x35mm screw with two M3 washers and one lock nut for the tail motor You can either build your own kit or buy a pre-assembled model, but I'm pretty sure many of you are seasoned enthusiasts who'd rather design and print one themselves. Instructions for assembly: Print settings recommended for optimal performance: Layer height: 0.2mm Number of perimeters: 2 Bottom solid layers: 3 Top solid layers: 3 Infill density: 50% for the tail motor mount, and a moderate 20% infill rate for other components PLA or ABS material is suitable for printing; I usually print with PLA to get that extra grip and sturdiness, but ABS can deliver great results too.
