I created a bracket to attach a flashlight to my bike or ski helmet. It fits a 20mm diameter flashlight; I bought a pack of five on Amazon for $15: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01D8DRFFI There's a mounting piece you stick onto your helmet using adhesive tape. The mounting piece has a curved cutout with a 320mm diameter sphere, matching the typical helmet surface curve. You'll need two 2mm x 6mm screws to assemble it. As you tighten the mount around the light, it also tightens into the groove attached to the helmet. Loosen the screws to remove from the helmet.
