Mini Filament Spool

This two-piece mini filament spool was designed to handle short lengths of 1.75mm filament with ease. Two splined pieces, held together by a small amount of Cyanoacrylate glue (Krazy Glue), form the base of this innovative design. I utilize this spool for storing Taulman 618 Nylon filament, carefully selecting only the right amount to "cold-pull" clean my extruder nozzle efficiently. The spool's compact size allows it to fit seamlessly alongside my 1kg reel, always keeping me within reach when operating my MakerGear M2. Two versions of this design exist: a 14mm wide spool and an 18mm wide spool. Alternatively, combining halves from each type results in a versatile 16mm wide version.
