Mini Fidget Spinner
thingiverse
I wanted to print a fidget spinner but only had 10x5x4mm bearings available. The solution was simple - make a mini-spinner that fits those bearings! It's a smaller and lighter version compared to regular spinners, but it still gets the job done as a plain old spinner. These bearings are commonly used in RC cars, so I had a stash of them to work with. To get optimal performance out of the bearings, I recommend removing their shields and using a solvent to clean the grease from the center bearing. This allows the bearings to spin freely. Only a few parts are needed for this mini-spinner: the bearings themselves and a small amount of superglue to hold the hub together. Note: After posting my original solution, I added a clever modification - plugs that replace the bearings on the outside, saving you from wasting so many bearings.
