Mini Extruder for E3D Hobb Goblin (Tantillus Reborn)

Remix of the original extruder for the awesome Tantillus Reborn by Lars. Check out www.scheuten.me for the Tantillus R project! I wasn't thrilled with the original extruder and its MK7 gear plus squished bowden tubes, so I remixed it to use a regular PC4 push fitting and the grippier E3D Hobb Goblin gear. The remix consists of 1 Body, 1 Cover, 1 idler, and the acrylic lid (optional). Here's how you can remix: Use the screws, bearing, springs, etc., from the original extruder and add 1 x PC4-M6 push fitting. - Insert an M3 nut into a nut trap, insert screws and spring (just like in the original assembly). - Install the lever with the installed bearing. - Slide a short piece of ptfe tube into the extruder body from the bottom right up to the inner housing; it will hold due to friction. - Pre-thread the top hole with M6, screw in the push fitting, and insert bowden tube until you reach the inner housing. - Put on the lid and the acrylic plate (from the original extruder). - Screw it into the Tantillus enclosure. - Don't forget to adjust the e-steps for the new gear! Here's a BOM for those who don't have the original extruder: - Printed parts - MR105ZZ bearing - 4x20mm cylindric metal shaft - PC4-M6 Push fit - 1 x M3 hex nut - 1 x DIN912 M3x20 - 1 x DIN912 M3x8 - 1 x DIN912 M3x30 (possibly shorter if you don't use the acrylic lid) - 1 x 0.8 x 4.7 x 20mm spring (or similar dimensions)
