Mini Dualstrusion Test Gizmos
thingiverse
These few small objects with two materials can be used to test dual extrusion before moving on to a bigger print. Load each object with _m1 and _m2 files in your slicer program, assigning an extruder to each. To quickly test alignment of nozzles in a multi-extruder setup, use the DualStrusion-minimalAlign files which are the simplest and fastest. They require only about 0.5g to print, taking around 5-8 minutes depending on your setup and settings. Printer Settings Printer Brand: FlashForge Printer: Creator Pro Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2 mm Infill: 0 ~ 15% Notes: The objects are made from translucent blue and glow-in-the-dark PLA. For the spiral cylinder, no infill was used but three perimeters were applied to provide enough material for the glow effect. Updates Added a 'diabolo' model on December 28th, 2017. Added 'miniTest' and the even smaller 'minimalAlign' models on June 17th, 2018.
