Mini drip tape valve opening tool
thingiverse
I use drip tape to water our large garden - the inexpensive plastic mini valves between the drip tape and the main pipe always end up breaking and becoming extremely rigid. So, I designed this gripper tool to make them usable. The slit is 50mm long, 5mm wide. The larger recessed circular part is 31mm in diameter. Photos show the ones that I know it works with, but it may work with others too. The valves I use are for 16.5mm drip tape, which should fit any similarly-sized ones. Check yours before printing. The hole is just for hanging or putting a string through. Fusion 360 export included for modification. The grey one shown in the photo is an earlier version, in the STL file I made it smaller, and changed the hole for better fit without sanding. (Black one shown in the photos)
