Mini DIY Dremel - MultiTool Project - Updated!

A brand new Dremel mini is about to help me tackle some custom projects I've been dreaming up. As I continue designing on the fly, I'll keep adding parts here. My mini Dremel design makes it ideal for handheld use and allows for seamless integration with numerous other components - the possibilities are truly endless. For now, I'm really impressed by how well my engine house fits together. It's been designed to snap into place perfectly, requiring no screws at all. The second piece is basically a gripping system that ensures the tool stays firmly in hand. This project will allow you to easily build a pile model and make it fully portable - a true win for DIY enthusiasts! To get started, I'll focus on connecting the wires directly to a PC power supply. I'm excited to test out the Dremel multitool mode too. The first DIY toy designed specifically for my mini Dremel is this very simple drill press - and it works amazingly well. The design was taken from a highly functional model that needed some tweaking to fit my mini Dremel perfectly. I used inspiration from multiple sources, including these: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1103903 http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:376078 http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:754248 Here are the printing instructions: position the parts without brackets, rotate them as needed (*some parts might require rotation), and use a 12% PLA infill. PLEASE don't use any of my DIY creations to make money! They're shared with the sole intention of enhancing community involvement.
