I'm excited about my new Dremel mini project, which will help me bring some of my designs to life. As I work on it, I'll add more parts as needed because designing on the fly is what I do best. The Dremel mini is designed for hand use, but its versatility allows it to be coupled with many other tools, opening up a wide range of possibilities. Currently, I have two main pieces that are working perfectly together. The first piece is an engine house that adjusts seamlessly, requiring no screws to hold it in place. This was a major breakthrough, and I'm confident it will serve me well. The second piece is designed to grip the tool firmly, making it easy to incorporate into a model and keep it portable. For now, I'll focus on connecting the wires directly to a PC power supply. My ultimate goal is to use this Dremel multitool mode effectively. This project's first toy will be a drill press, which I've adapted from an existing design by modifying some parts to fit easily with my mini Dremel. The result is a simple yet functional drill press that works perfectly. The motor used is a high-power 12V one, and I'll provide printing instructions soon. These instructions are straightforward, without brackets or complicated positions – simply place the pieces as indicated, and you're ready to go. In this case, I used PLA with an infill of 12% to ensure durability and performance.
