Mini Cross Bow

Mini Cross Bow

This is my take on the popular popsicle stick mini crossbow seen online. I upgraded it to use an actual trigger, giving it a more realistic feel. The crossbow is printed upside down (handle pointing up), with a 2/56" x 1/2" screw securing the trigger in place - an alternative option is using a piece of filament with the ends melted to hold it steady. The bow is crafted from metal hair clips, where the center portion is removed by bending it back and forth several times until it snaps off. The clips are simply inserted into the cutouts (gluing them in place if needed). When attaching the string, preload the bows slightly before tying the final knot - but avoid overdoing it to prevent damage. Q-tips are used as arrows for a fun target practice session.
