The bracket will hold an aftermarket radio/headunit microphone in the factory headliner mounted handsfree microphone location.The 13.25mm cylinder holds the microphone included in many Sony radios. It also worked with at least 1 Kenwood radio I tested. The microphone slides into the cylinder and the whole bracket clips into the factory cover like the factory mic.
