It's a speaker cover for early Minis - from the first one made in 1964 all the way until they stopped producing them in 2000 before creating the BMW big Mini. Most Minis would no longer have speaker covers, as they've cracked decades ago. So I made this one that mimics the racing wheels of those days when these little pocket rockets were race cars and police cars in Australia. A few years back when I first created a batch of these, I spotted a green Mini in my street that looked so good - I went back home and gave them to the owner with a little note. When I came back later, the owner left me a thank-you note saying he loved them. This design is dedicated to my very close friend Jack Read, whom I met at a nursing home - he was a famous Mini mechanic back in his day.
