MINI CNC with cdrom steppers

I'm still very much a work in progress, uploaded just so you can bring your ideas to the project. The idea is to harness heavy fishing line as belts and employ a pulley system to double the strength of weak CD-ROM motors. I've created a hub for us to communicate and calibrate - check it out here: https://www.thingiverse.com/groups/minicnc The rods I used are 7mm aluminum bar stock, readily available in any metal supplier shop, while the threaded rods measure 3/16 inch. The build plate should be a 1/8 acrylic sheet, with double-sided tape used to stick it to printed bearings and the Y carriage block - which I haven't designed yet. The X carriage will be a two-part design, easily swapped for a pen, laser, or small drill with servo.
