The included support will prevent the print from detaching at its widest points while printing, and can easily be removed after printing. The pot and tree are one seamless piece, and require a unique set of print settings. Use three shells and 35% infill to achieve strong finer details. For optimal results, try using three different colored decorations in your preferred color combinations. It is recommended that you print the base of the decorations in the same color as your tree, so that the hook isn't visible. To switch filaments for different colors, pause at 3mm or approximately 75% of completion (with Raft On) and change your filament. You can print numerous decorations to adorn your mini Christmas tree; they take very little time and material. Print the star separately in your desired color with no support needed. After printing is complete, remove the raft and designed-in support and hang your colorful ornaments from the branches, then top it off with a festive star - the results will be perfect for PLA filament on 5th Generation Replicators or even MakerBot's 2. Standardly sized, this Christmas decoration is around 100mm tall including its star and roughly 60mm wide at its thickest point. If your decorations prove too tight for your mini tree branches, try scaling up approximately 5% to make the holes a bit larger.
