Mini Christmas Tree Stand
thingiverse
Unable to locate a Mini/Micro Christmas tree stand online, I decided to add some festive cheer to my work desk using a 3D printer. The design features a compact base suitable for small desktop trees, with instructions available for printing on a Makerbot. A new version of the base has recently been released, boasting thinner walls, a built-in M4 nut and rounded corners. Assembly is straightforward: attach four 4mm screws (socket head or eye) into the pre-spaced holes in the base, add caps, then secure your tree with the tree holder. Don't forget to fill the stand with water before adding LED lights controlled by an Arduino for a touch of extra sparkle.
