Designed for two 4.5" (114.3mm) long, 5/16" (8mm) diameter ceramic rods. You can buy them this short, or cut a 9" stick in half. I cut a 9" stick in half. It was quite easy. A dremel cut off wheel was used to score the stick. By the time I got ~1.5 mm deep all the way around, the built up heat caused the stick to cleanly break exactly how I wanted. The hole to secure the door to the base is designed for a #8 wood screw (0.164" or 4.2mm major diameter), 1.25" (31.7mm) long. At least 8 mm of the screw need to be thread-less to allow the door to rotate. If you don't have this type of screw, you can file/grind down the threads.I was able to print this without supports, but I had to increase the external perimeter extrusion width by ~50% above the default (higher width allows for steeper overhangs) and use variable layer height with 0.15mm layer height at the top of the storage slots. Comes in 15°/20°, 18°/22° and 20°/25° combinations. The full-sized version of this model can be found here: https://www.printables.com/model/817201-ceramic-rod-knife-sharpening-base
