Mini Catapult - Trigger mechanism

Mini Catapult - Trigger mechanism

I crafted a cool mini catapult courtesy of ATECH: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:438870. Next, I designed supports for the base to minimize flexibility and allow the catapult to rest flat on the surface despite rubber bands protruding beneath. Finally, I developed a triggering mechanism using one of the rubber bands that hold it in place once held under tension. To shoot, just press down the little lever on the back and let the catapult soar! Here are my assembly instructions: I printed with 0.2m layer height, utilizing PLA. Once printed, slide the trigger into the back part of the catapult's base, then hook one rubber band to the protruding edge at the end of the trigger's base. To shoot, pull the catapult's spoon back until it locks into the trigger, load the catapult and pull the trigger's lever back until it releases the catapult.
