Mini Catapult - Supports for the base

The outcome was fantastic, the catapult launches with remarkable accuracy over long distances, yet I observed a slight issue - the slender base tends to buckle when the rubber bands are fully extended for maximum range. I chose to add two supporting struts on either side of the base and incorporated angled slots at the bottom of the rails to accommodate the rubber bands, ensuring that the entire catapult remains flat on the ground. UPDATE: I created an enhanced version (files designated as v2), featuring sliding slots on both sides so that the supports won't slide backward after launching. Additionally, I widened the slots for the rubber bands, allowing the catapult to rest perfectly flat on the underlying surface even when larger rubber bands are utilized.
