Please watch this video for more information: https://youtu.be/l2K7Q7JWhb0 This is a loot chest from Borderlands that I built as a compact storage solution for my SD cards. Space constraints limited the size, but it can be easily scaled up without compromising performance. In fact, scaling down significantly isn't recommended due to potential structural issues. The loot chest was printed on my Robo 3D using PLA material with a 0.1mm layer height to capture intricate details. Support structures were used sparingly - mainly for the lid handle and body connectors on the back. I also employed a raft to minimize warping, but retrospectively consider it excessive; a raft may not be necessary in this case. I opted for an infill density of 20%, which seems reasonable given the design. My wife took care of painting the loot chest. She primed it with white spray primer, followed by water-based acrylic paints applied carefully using brushes to highlight fine details. Once dry, she added a glossy coating to achieve a subtle sheen. Thanks for taking a look at this project! I appreciate your feedback - hope you enjoy it.
