Mini Borderlands Loot Chest

I designed it to be small, as I had limited desk space and wanted to store SD cards in it easily. It can be scaled up without any issues if you prefer a larger version. However, scaling down might not be the best idea. I printed this model on my Robo 3D using PLA plastic with a layer height of 0.1mm to capture all the intricate details. I added some support material for the lid's handle and the body's connectors at the back. A small raft was also used to prevent warping, but in hindsight, it might have been unnecessary. When it comes to infill, the percentage doesn't make a huge difference here, so I opted for 20%. For painting, my wife primed the model with white spray primer and then used water-based acrylic paints and brushes to add all the details. After it dried, she applied a gloss coating to give it a subtle shine. Thanks for checking this out! I hope you enjoy it!
